'Tethered to the vine with Sande'

My life's mission is to delight in prayer and sojourn in the Word so that Jesus will flow out of me to the ends of the earth.

Jesus Christ, the only Son of the only God, is the True Vine. Father God is the Vineyard Keeper. If Jesus Christ lives in you, you are a branch as am I. We must remain attached, tethered, to that Vine if we are to have any hope whatsoever of living fruitful lives. Jesus, the Vine, is also the Word. We must remain in the Word of God; apart from the Word, we can do nothing. The Word, His Words, the Words of the Holy Bible, must be in us continually – every single day – then we will be empowered as Christ followers who glorify the Father and bring joy and pleasure to His heart. [John 1:1; 3:16; 15:1-8]

Will you join me in being tethered to the Vine? Come apart for a time into Sande’s Hamlet. A hamlet is a small enclosed area of safety as is this page. Please, try to shut out the anxieties of your life as God speaks to you for a little while here in this small, enclosed space.

May the Holy Spirit lead and guide you into all truth so that you will recognize all the tiniest tricks of our defeated enemy. Know God! Sojourn in His Word! Live for Jesus!
